Photos of George (with John) and Paul on the nightstand. Or is it all one photo?

    Twickenham soundstage?
(Magic Bed-In starring Peter Sellers as Roman Polanski)

  5. MarkC says:

Upon closer inspection, it’s a fan drawing, confusing the Mercedes logo with the peace sign.

  6. Kwai Chang says:

Then, is that a piece of custom support by The Fool to the right of fan-drawing?
I wanna be the maid on Monday.

I’m wondering if this wasn’t taken at night, and the window glass is just reflecting back from the room.

Besides the anomalies(hues, shadows, reflections etc)
When did high-rise structures start using wooden windows?
    Is that the penthouse?

  9. mcarp555 says:

This is the Montreal Bed-in, and yes, it’s obviously wooden frames for the windows. The Amsterdam Bed-in has different windows completely, and most photos are from that one. If you look at photos from the recording of “Give Peace a Chance”, you’ll see the Montreal wooden frames.

It’s weird. Maybe they had the boards put up for some privacy from outside, and down on the street?.

  11. mcarp555 says:

I still don’t think there are any boards. This is not a ground floor suite, and there are no balconies. If you look at this photo:

You’ll see the same ‘patterns’ on the glass, with the outside clearly visible. I still say the red colour is just a trick of the light.

    100% right!! :-)

That pic shows that it is just a reflection. :-)

For the purpose of colour photography, orange gels appear to have been taped to the window (creating those strange arched reflections). So that the ‘blue’ of sun light 5600k will be changed to 3200k tungsten – as per the front light which will be 3200k. Most likely done for the purpose of the filming of the “Give Peace A Chance” clip…
