Man, what’s in those drinks?
Paul’s grandfather must have gotten them into Le Cirque Club and now, John Lennon wants to play Beatle Bunko…
This appeared to be two photos spliced together…
but I think it’s a single photo that has been chopped and cropped…
(the photo is of the room with a mirror on one wall)
Too cute! : )
That picture looks like the Peppermint Lounge in New York. I think that was 1964. It was the Beatles first visit to the USA
It was indeed the first New York visit, BLJ. There’s George’s sister Louise next to him.
John had quite the evening that evening. In all of the photos he looks about ten sheets to the wind!
Hey Kwai…I’ll bet you’re a great swimmer!
John was tough when he was all liquored up, look how pissed off and annoyed everyone else in the picture seems. Loved to have seen Lennon when he was on a roll. LOL.
This photo, and others of them sitting beside the mirror, was taken in the Playboy Club before they went to the Peppermint Lounge. February 9, 1964 – following their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.
