ha ha ha ha ha I read somewhere a statement of a fan who met them and she said that paul definitely was wearing eyeliner LOL but i had no idea Ringo did too XD
I don’t know if this is natural or if there was a little eyeliner applied. But who ever put it on they did a good job because I think it would have gone unnoticed if it had not been bought to my attention. I know most celebrities have make-up applied. I often wondered did Paul and George have their brows done. Paul eyebrows were perfectly arched. I believe George had the middle of his brows plucked, in the late sixties to eliminate his eyebrows from uniting.
When the Fabs were in Aussie it was a bit ofa joke how much eyeliner Paul used to wear, there are photo’s floating around from the tour showing Paul all tarted up
It’s pretty normal especially back in those days for performers to put on make up when they were going on stage, etc. There are pictures around of the Beatles doing their “make up”. Paul’s not actually wearing that much eyeliner(actually neither is Ringo) but it tends to show up more on his type of prominent eyes.
I don’t think he got his brows done, not unless he started doing them when he was young unfamous teenager before he got in a band. 😀 He always had those eyebrows. When he was a little kid they were lighter in color so not as obvious but the McCartney’s were rather known for their high eyebrows.
John and George also wore eyeliner too. It was because they were told they would look better with eyeliner. They are also wearing eyeshadow. Just go on Google images and search “Beatles Eyeliner” and you’ll find a photo of them all wearing mascara and eyeliner on a magazine
