Yep – 4 September – Dezo Hoffman pic
the one he got to play or not…
(I apologise car…I’m almost to the box with the Bibles)
That is not a recording session but a photograph session, from 4 September 1962, at EMI Studio Three, photograph by Dezo Hoffmann. The Beatles did not record in EMI Studio Three until April 1966. On the 4th September 1962 The Beatles went into Studio Three to shoot some photographs and then moved down to Studio Two to record on the single version of “Love Me Do”. A week later, the 7th September, the LP version was recorded with Andy White on drums and Ringo on tambourine.
so that means this man is not rejected here!!!
(what a champ!!! that little drummer from dingle)
Thanks Mr Horse for the info ‘Yes sir!, i do like it’.
Thanks, Tammy, for your amusing blog and the photographs.
Isn’t this the photo shoot where there is a group shot and George has a blackeye cause he was punched by a Pete Best fan after he stood up for Ringo ?
