Agreed … Linda is truly missed. There is always something very special about the photographs of Linda, Paul & family. The love they have for one another is clearly displayed & these photos as well as others are a wonderful visual documentary of their life together.
I like goofiness at times, but I’m not a fan of the pics with her and Paul pulling faces. I know it must have been beyond aggravating to have cameras stuck in your face all the time, but it kind of came with the territory, you know, and sticking out your tongue and crossing your eyes just seems a real juvenile response. I did love Linda, and I still mourn her passing, but I hope that doesn’t mean I can’t criticize her now. I was never a fan of John’s “spastic” pics, either. But I miss him, too!
Pulling those faces PROBABLY helped keep them same. Can you imagine nearly 50 years of the madness of the world wanting to photograph you? I can’t. It showed that they had similar tastes like The Beatles did in earlier days.
We certainly do. Wonderfully goofy lady.
