It is a wonder that John’s leg did not get stuck between those wrought iron bars. George did not have to worry about his leg getting stuck.
Those bars are still there to this day.
Wow, Tammy, that’s interesting. One would think they would have changed them after 50 years.
Top floor, “penthouse suite”, room 801, “Sheraton Motor Inn” Macleay St Potts Point Sydney, June 64. At the time this was Sydney’s finest international hotel, but by today’s standard’s, it was lamentably sparse and small. Ms Tammy organised a party in this room during the 90s, at which I was lucky to be invited. Had my photo taken on the balcony, and in the “beatle bathtub”, the interior being virtually unchanged then.
Stephanie, that sounds like fun. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could go back in time that very moment the Beatles were there. Well it is nice to imagine anyway.
