great – another “new” one for me!
From the absolute worst time of Johns life. He was such a mess…personally, not professionally. He put a lot of good out in those days but John was one of those split-personality drinkers who went fucking bonkers by his 5th drink. He would say the most god-awful things when in that state but that was part of the mad genius character of John.
Finally found a copy on “Pussycats” on vinyl recently. I gave it numerous listens…can’t really get into it. I will say Nilsson’s rendition of “Save The Last Dance For Me” was a stand-out.
