The Night Of 100 Stars charity revue rehearsal, London Palladium, 23 July 1964. This is a Daily Mirror pic.

There is some audio available from this event (Steptoe & Son, Judy Garland).
    Anything available by The Beatles?
Presumably they performed the same songs as on Blackpool Big Night Out?

Hi Keith, I don’t have conclusive proof but in all my years investigating the Beatles’ career, I have never found any evidence that the Beatles performed a music segment at this event. For one thing, the sheer amount of performers who appeared that night may well have precluded the band performing a short set as well. I think they may have just performed the naff “flying” skit but I’m happy to be proved wrong.

Stuff on the internet suggests they performed “a short musical segment” around midnight.
I suspect you may be right though and its another Beatles legend born out of wishful thinking.

That internet reference (like a lot of other Beatles research out there on the net) has been copied, parrot fashion, from “The Complete Beatles Chronicle.” Show me the proof…
