THIS IS NOT A BEGGING LETTER:

It’s almost November, and for me, that means scratching around, and coughing up for my web hosting fee’s for The Beatle Photo Blog site. I’m not asking (For reals, honestly, it’s just if anyone feels like tinkling the button) but if you look to the right, and down a little, you’ll see a ‘Donate’ button, if anyone feels so inclinded to click on it, i’d be most grateful for any help in covering the cost for hosting. Thanks in advance.

If I was able to donate I promise I would but I’m sure my mom wouldn’t use her money.I really wish that I could, maybe I could donate a little bit of my birthday money I get on my birthday in early November.I probably will get about $100 so if you’d like I could donate $40 (I don’t even know if that would help any but I really want to donate).Times like these make me wish I was an adult and had money of my own.I love this site so much,it’s really nice of you to make it a free site (I don’t know if you could add a thing where you have to pay a fee to view the site but there’s so many great pictures on here that it should have a cost and it’s so nice of you that it’s free). This is one of my top favorite sites and I really just want to thank you for creating it and for all of the wonderful pictures you put on here. :)

No No Jema, really no need .. but thank you so much for the offer. It’s just $150.00 i have to cover for this site, i don’t have a lot of petty cash to spare at the moment, otherwise i’d be fine to cover it myself as i did last year. It was just if any reader wanted to throw a little coin towards it, it would ease things a little for me, but really, i don’t want birthday money or anything like that, just go and spend it on Fab dvd’s and cd’s and cool Beatle stuff, that would mean more to me, such a lovely gesture of you.

The only reason i purchased the domain, and a paid hosting site is the free ones like Blogger, Blogspot etc can at any time close down and remove a blog and all it’s archives, this way i can avoid that, and also i like to keep ad’s and banners off my site to help pay, they’re okay, but i kinda like the aesthetic of my/our blog, where the photo’s are left to speak for themselves without distraction. Again, thanks so much for the kindest of offers, but go forth and spend up on Fab stuff, then come and brag and tell us what you got, and what you enjoyed.

Tammy: After these donations, how much is left on your $150 tab?

  8. Tammy says:

I think about sixty dollars now.

Ironic that George is the only one without a cigarette in his mouth, given what eventually he died from…..

    Tammy,
I am like JL in 1972 and a little paranoid about this pay pal etc. I don’t like to give out my personal info. If somehow I can get an address I will gladly send you a check to lend a hand, This is such a great site and have no problem helping but not in this way.
Please let me know and don’t think I am a dinosaur cause I don’t trust paypal etc.

  11. Tammy says:

It’s all fine Alex, i don’t thing you’re Raptor-esque at all for being antsy about these things :-)

I’m happy to make a little donation to help you. C’mon all you lurkers – this is a BEATLES site, and Beatle people stick together.

  13. Vitor Bastos says:

  14. Susan says:

Tammy: OK, $60 it is. Hopefully this pays down the balance and perhaps a little something extra for yourself. You have done such a brilliant job on this site. Cheers!
