THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKING:

You know when people ask you if there is ‘one’ bit of memorabilia of Paul’s you could have, what would it be?. I’ve thought long and hard about this, mostly hard (tho lets not downplay the long) and there were quite a few contenders.

His undies he had to wear for nine days strait, during his jail time in Tokyo were up there, as was his suit he wore to court in Campbeltown to visit the judge (who was a great guy), the Hofner just so i could ritualistically burn it, and lets not leave out his Heringbone jacket he still wears since purchasing it in 1967.

But no, none of those item’s even come close to my true desire, my true want. Linda’s silver glam boots from 1973, THAT’S what i want in my Beatle display case, tho only when i’m not wearing them, prancing around my room naked, striking Betty Boop poses in the mirror.

Take a moment to visualise that, that is the image of a real fan.

Paul goes commando. I recall reading that the japanese police were very bemused by this when Paul had to strip.

    (…and, speaking of the ClearBra!?!?):
    I was just on ebay(not a drug…err)
and someone is selling an old promo poster for Wings’ Jet single.
The seller thinks the ‘painted’ woman on the poster is Linda.
I was straining my eyes but I can’t be sure.
    Anyone???

  8. Tammy says:

    Deffo ‘not’ Linda.

    Thank you, Tammy!
I couldn’t get comfy thinking I had missed that for so many years…
Or, even worse…knowing my vision isn’t good enough to make a judgment call at the finish line…
    Well, I’ll be 64 in twelve years…
    will you still need me?
    will you still feed me?
    Peace, beatle peedles…
