Hi everyone! Hope Miss Tammy and all the blog regulars are doing well. I just saw Paul’s concert in São Paulo last Wednesday – it was FANTASTIC! I thought his voice sounded great, much better than in 2017. My friend says he now has a voice coach. Miss you all! Please know you can get in touch with me through or Facebook. Love to all! <3 – P.S. I am translating my book into English, it will come out towards the end of the year.

  18. don says:

Wow. Fascinating info about Paul’s voice coach! 😉

  19. Sage Brush says:

    Miss Tammy… are missed.

I am grieving that we have had no posts this year.

McCarp, there’s where in his book Paul talks about “realizing” there are seven levels. Part of Beatle lore.

  23. mcarp555 says:

Yes, I know the story, but not your reference. “MYFN” escapes me. It’s also mentioned in other books.

  24. Since 1963 says:

I believe MarkC is referring to the book Many Years From Now (MYFN).

  25. MarkC says:

    Yes, that’s what I meant.

  26. mcarp555 says:

Ah yes, of course. Acronyms give me brain farts.

  27. Lizzie says:

Hi everyone! I haven’t been here in ages. I miss this blog soooo much! Hope everyone is doing ok. I am almost done with the translation of my book. Should be out in English towards the end of the year. All my loving!

  28. Anonymoustill says:

Hi Lizzie! I miss the blog and the people. I have been looking forward to your book ever since I first learned of it.
Hope everyone is well out there in Pepperland!

  29. Since 1963 says:

I, too, miss this blog and return every so often to check for updates.
Lizzie, I am also greatly looking forward to your translation. I’ve tried to get through my first copy using Google translator app, but it’s not working very well. Save a copy for me!!! 😉
Happy summer to all in the north! ☀️ Happy winter to Lizzie and Miss Tammy, and all of you in the south. ❄️

  30. mcarp555 says:

Yup, me too. I’m attending one of the Abbey Road lectures this year, so if anyone is in London on Aug. 16th…

I’m also proofreading an amazingly detailed book about the Beatles in Hamburg, which should be out next year. The author is German and I’m ‘massaging’ the text to read better in English. And I’m waiting with baited breath for Lizzie’s book!

  31. Since 1963 says:

Please let us know the minute this “Hamburg book” is available. It sounds like a must read. There’s so little available about their time in Germany. Having this and Lizzies’ book to look forward to is wonderfully maddening. LOL

  32. Lizzie says:

Hi everybody! Just passing by… I should be finished with my translation by this weekend. Lord knows how I managed to do this AND care for my mother with Alzheimer’s (she’ll be 90 next month) 24/7… I’m having fun reliving all those moments in London! And I have to be a bit crazy to let the world read my teenage diaries: my life revolved entirely around John. As far as I know, none of my friends who were there at the time want to share their stories and photos. The way I feel is that if the Universe, or God, or whatever allowed me to live that experience – which millions of fans all over the world could only dream of – I NEED to share that with them. The biggest compliment I have received over and over again from readers is that they felt as if they were there with me… that is EXACTLY what I wanted and I hope I can accomplish it with my English translation too. Be well, my friends!

  33. Sage Brush says:

Lizzie……Thank You for sharing your teenage diaries! I can’t wait to read your book.

  34. Lizzie says:

Hi Sage – I finished the translation a couple of hours ago! Love from a chilly, windy, rainy Rio de Janeiro. <3

  35. Sage Brush says:

    Bravo Lizzie.

It is cloudy here in Juneau, Alaska…..and we need rain!

  36. Since 1963 says:

Congratulations on finishing the translation, Lizzie!
And congrats to me who will soon be reading your fantastic book. :)

  37. Sage Brush says:

    Okay…..I have a GOOFY idea.

Maybe if Miss Tammy sees how many NEW Responses there are……she will post some NEW photos!

    So let’s chat!!??

  38. Lizzie says:

Hi everyone! Haven’t been here in a long time… Not a bad idea Sage! We lost our mother on September 13th. She was sedated, but I sang several songs for her (a few Brazilian tunes, In my life and The End) while I stroked her hair and held on to her (limp…) hand. She passed away about fifteen minutes after I got to the Intensive Care Unit. She was 90, had Alzheimer’s and it was very, very hard to care for her 24/7. I asked God to take her before she goo too ill, and he did. Even so, my brother and I are very sad… It was my mother who begged my father to pay for my trip to London, so I know she would be very proud to know I will be announcing the pre-order of my totally independent English book sometime this week. All my loving, I will send to you. <3

  39. Sage Brush says:

Lizzie – I am so sorry for your loss. Please be patient and kind to yourself.

I am looking forward to reading your book….in English.

Miss Tammy – You are missed and I hope you are doing well.

  40. Since 1963 says:

Allow me to offer my deepest condolences to you and your loved ones, Lizzie. My thoughts are with you at this moment.

  41. Anonymoustill says:

    Hello Lizzie,

You have my deepest condolences. I more or less went through the same thing with my dad this summer. Cared for him for months. He had CHF and I was with him for all but his last few hours. It was a relief when he finally passed as he had literally been begging to go for a very very long time.

Hope everyone is OK. Shout out to Alex of B, Since 63, Sage, McCarp, Mark Zapp, Kwai, Tammy, Datey, and everyone else I’ve had the pleasure of corresponding with on this much missed site. It’s been sooo long I can’t recall many of you. Hug your loved ones, all. Tomorrow Never Knows.

  42. mcarp555 says:

Lizzie, I know you’re probably having mixed feelings at this difficult time. I’ll drop you an email later. My deepest condolences.

A – returning your shout out.

  43. Alex of Bronx says:

Hi Lizzie, Sorry about your loss. I remember you saying your Mom was sick for awhile. As hard as it is Lizzie, realize she is now in a better place.
I miss all you guys on this site too. We became friends.
Somehow maybe we can work something out.
Absolutely right Anonymoustill, Tomorrow Never Knows.
    Each day is a gift.
    Love to Everyone.

  44. Lizzie says:

Thank you for your kind words, everyone! So we can stay in contact, please note my e-mail I am on Facebook as Lizzie Bravo and on Instagram as @lizzie_bravo. I am on Twitter but I never go there… I am also on WhattsApp (+55-21-98151-5150). We are hanging in there, one day at a time. It’s still VERY strange that she is no longer here… I have lived with her for almost four years, caring for her. My brother has been here for two years.

I have written the text for my website about the English Book. Now I have to calculate postage costs (three different options) for different parts of the world. Then I have to put the text onto my Wix site. I am not an expert on this, so it might take me a while. I hope to have everything ready for the pre-order by the end of the week. One has to be slightly crazy to embark on a journey of doing pre-orders for TWO books – 2nd edition of the Portuguese book and English one. when you look at the very high numbers for printing them it’s kinda scary, but I very much believe in my book and have to have faith that it will all work out fine in the end, like it did with the first one.

  45. Alex of Bronx says:

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!!

  46. Sage Brush says:

    Dear Santa,

Please bring us a New Post from Miss Tammy.

    Hope everyone is doing well.
Sending Good Wishes for the Holidays.

  47. mcarp555 says:

One year on, and no word. Many of us are on Sara’s site, which is good, but Miss Tammy is greatly missed. Thanks for the memories and the laughs.

  48. Since 1963 says:

Happiest of New Years to you Greg and all of you fans and friends out there.
