Actually this is Ringo in Tom Petty’s video for “I Won’t Back Down” from 1989. It also featured a one George Harrison.
Though it’s only George that plays on the record, Ringo just pretends for the video.
In part of the video Ringo couldn’t make it for the shoot and a look alike called Chris Tassat stood in for him. You can barely make out which is which in the video.
