Great rare shot. Thanks. If you’re familiar with the program, you’ll recognize John’s attorney Leon Wildes’ left hand on the armrest of the chair on the right side of the photo.
I love the free poster from the Imagine album in the background. I can imagine Tom barking orders for some appropriate background and some younger staffperson rememembered that poster insert and fetched it. Remember how neat vinyl albums were because we would get cool stuff like that! Now the poster is the size of a postcard.
This interview, I wished was a Howard Stern interview. John was about to say some personal stuff, yet Tom would stop John from revealing, and change the subject!

Very good interview. My old VHS tape (taped from the 1980 replay) still occupies a priority position in my tape library.

I personally think Tom Snyder was awful at interviewing people. He always stumbled over his words. Just a mess as far as I am concerned.
