Linda had this interesting way of switching back and forth to looking “mannish” and not exactly approachable and then there she was, smiling and open and as though she was inviting you to sit down and have a good chat.
Well Paul had an interesting way of switching back and forth to looking “feminine” and approachable.
I’m absolutely serious. I think that’s a fascinating thing about pictures of them, and about their relationship. Sometimes Linda provided the strength and Paul the beauty, and sometimes the reverse was true.
