  3. Jorge says:

Rock legends! TMZ would have a field day with a group like this out in the streets today!

  4. Tammy says:

Yes, it’s a cross polination from the ‘Uh oh’ and ‘Stoner’ files :-)

  6. Hitachi says:

These important photos have always confused me. There are two sets of different pics of Ringo & Harry with P & L from 1975. Where and Why are the two big questions I have.
Reportedly Ringo and Nilsson attended an Elton John party in London on June 20, 1975 but Paul and Linda have never been mentioned as attending. The following night though P & L, Ringo and Harry reportedly attended Elton’s Wembley concert and a party afterwards but presumably this all happened at night?
On Sept 5, 1975, Ringo & Harry along with Paul & Linda attended a party for John Reid’s birthday (Elton John’s manager) at Elstree Studios in the UK.
Following Wings 1975 UK gig at the Hammersmith Odeon on Sept 18 Ringo and Harry went to the Wings after show party, again at night, but this pic is taken during daylight hours plus Elton has not been mentioned as having been there.
So can anyone shed any light of the situation of these pics?

Yes Hitachi……TMZ, if they had been around then! chuckle

  8. Kwai Chang says:

    Don’t shoot!
    I’m only the guesser…
I know that the vehicle in the background appears to be ‘Right Handed'(England), but, those clothes are all screaming “L.A.”…
    was this a possibility?
The ONLY reason I say this is because the building says “Holloway” and down in West Hollywood, the Sunset Strip starts where Holloway Drive terminates at Sunset Blvd. I think this looks enough like that area…
If not…have mercy on the criminal.

  9. Hitachi says:

Its possible Kwai but there is also a Holloway Rd in London! But would either have the street name painted onto the building? Almost looks like the name of the establishment? The buildings and as you said, the car, do look British to me as the street is quite thin like in London. I checked the Hollywood one on Google maps and its nothing like this area so I’m pretty much convinced its British but going up Holloway rd in London on Google Earth shows nothing like this corner. Hopefully a Londoner can tell us!

  10. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

Hitachi, it looks remarkably like the corner of Soho Square and Carlisle Street – right next to McCartney’s MPL office. But this is just my impression – someone out there might recognise it for definite.

looking at the car (the car, not Car lol) in the road behind the group, seems to me to be a right hand drive, which would suggest UK, not U.S. location. and I think the car is in the left lane, again suggesting UK.
