THE BEATLE FAMILY ATTEND PAUL’S LAS VEGAS CONCERT JUNE 2011:

The below was recently posted on Yoko’s Twitter account, let the peace continue in the Beatle family for evermore, this is how it should always be.

“@MikeWoodhead, Hi yoko I was at anfield in 2008 where you were in the crowd to see Paul. What is your favourite Paul Mccartney song?

Yes, I was at Paul’s concert at Anfield. We all enjoyed his performance which was brilliant. Paul wrote many great songs, as you know. But, to me, “Here Today”, the one he made for John right after John’s passing is the most beautiful song. There are many others, too, of course. We love his songs. He is family.”

Awesome. It is so heart-warming that the extended Beatles family is so close, and support each other like this.

I was at this concert. The whole arena was on its feet applauding when Yoko, Sean, Olivia, and George Martin came in just before the show started. It was nice to see everyone’s appreciation of these members of the extended Beatles family. This is my 5th time seeing Paul and it’s definitely the most relaxed I’ve ever seen him onstage. Brilliant show!

Sounds like it was a once in a lifetime experience. It’s nice to see all of them together like that, although I always wonder in those situations where Julian and Cynthia are. Maybe they just weren’t available (I know Ringo couldn’t go because he’s touring in Europe right now)? I don’t know how things are between Yoko/Sean and Julian/Cynthia right now.

Anyway, Here Today is such a hauntingly beautiful song. If anyone had any doubts about whether Paul and John made up before John was killed, unfortunately that song puts those doubts to rest.
