Datey, or Chip .. help Miss Tammy out here, i’ve licked up one too many shrooms in my time, and i’m constatanly in a state of memory prolapse, or more precisley ‘Date prolapse’, i used to be able to see a pic and date it without question, but i think after the photo overload i’ve had it’s getting harder to be precise. What’s the story with John in Japan in 1970, there are pics where he has a full beard, then others, in fact footage from the original ‘Imagine’ movie from 1971, where he and Yoko are at a shrine and he’s clean shaven?. Chip, hurry up and get your book done!

I saw this photo years ago in a Bowie book, the book was too expensive to purchase for one photo, and i thought i’d see the photo turn up somewhere, but years and years past, i recently started to think i hadn’t actually really seen the photo. Thanks to a reader .. who i forget exactly who it was that sent me this, i can now see i wasn’t dreaming.

What a find!!, a pic of John which i believe to be from December 1st 1980, i have no other info on this pic, other than it was dated ‘December 1 1980′. This pic has Miss Tammy as damp as a cup cake, December 1 was one of the missing days we don’t have documented in photographic form from that month. Everything ties in that this date is correct, John looks as if his hair is freshly washed, it has the same part, and same style as the photo’s that Annie Leibovitz took of John on December 3rd, where is hair looked the same, just not as freshly washed. I have added the photo to the December 1980 timeline “HERE“.
