Miss Tammy last week had the pleasure (doesn’t everyone?) of seeing Ringo Starr in concert in Melbourne, it’s always a treat seeing a Beatle, and this was my first time seeing Ringo. I was able to hide upon my person, and sneak in my box brownie camera, i managed to reel off a few photo’s of everyones favorite stick wielder. I’m breaking my own rules here by posting ‘on stage’ photo’s, but i figure this is a good enough reason for an exception. Miss Tammy would like to say a special hello to all the readers of the blog at the concert who recognised me, and came up and said hello. It was great getting to meet some of you
Years ago i was at a party talking to a guy, the subject got around to music and The Beatles, this guy said ‘Oh, i know George, he’s a family friend’, i kinda didn’t totally believe him, as you must agree, having Hari as a family friend is unique. He said ‘No, i can prove it’, he went to the bookshelf and pulled out a copy of ‘I Me Mine’ inscribd to him in Georges hand. In the last few days these pics have surface on the net, and i was blown away to see they are of the guy Simon i spoke to at the party, and of his family in Perth with George
Being the perfectionist i am (some would say anal, tho not me), i’ve been looking over some of the earliest entries of this blog, i can’t help but shudder at how ordinary some of them look. I won’t have enough time to go over and review many, but some important, or meaningful entries i may from time to time work on, upgrade and flesh out.
One entry i spent a few hours on tonight, was a post about my memories of John in 1980. Click on the highlighted link below to view this post ..
Oh, do you like how i just casually throw in a nice, new, unseen John in 1980 photo for you?, i spoil you lot.
Paul and Linda photographed in Sydney by our very own Princess Stephanie, who also happens to share a birthday with Paul, sure she hasn’t brought quite as much joy to as many people as Paul, but she has certainly brought quite a lot of joy to as many as she has been able to (within the limits and boundaries of common, and i do mean ‘common’ decency), post all salutions below to a lovely lady.
These photo’s are so cool (Sorry Sara, i couldn’t hold off grabbing them from your site) these bring back the best Paul memories of my life, when i traveled two countries, and saw every concert in Australia and New Zealand. So many great memories of amazing times with my friends, and in the end, with Paul and Linda.
The exact spot where John and George are sitting in these photo’s is where your very own ‘Tammy: Dutchess of Oven’
held quite a few of her infamous ‘Shaving and self drink spiking’ parties in the early to mid 1990′s. One day i’m going to break into commenter ‘Stephanies’ house, and steal, and destroy the video’s that she has from said ‘Shave and spike’ soiree’s.
