Hi everyone, and happy new year. I’ve been a little thin on the ground, as i explained it’s summer here in Australia, and i took a short break away. Unfortunatley something has happened, and for just a little while i’ll have to hit the pause button on the Beatle Photo Blog, while i rearrange my priorities. This isn’t one of those examples you see on blogs ‘I’ll be back son’ or ‘Just taking a short break’ and you never see them again, i still love my photo’s, the blog, and the people here, so it’s not a matter of that. Sometimes in life something comes along that requires, and deserves undivided attention, this is one of those times. Check back when you can, i’ll be back here posting before too long. Greg xoxo

Miss Tammy here, wishing one and all Seasons greetings, however you may celebrate it. Here in Australia it’s summer, so i may be a little thin on posting for a few weeks, tho i will try and pop in (or out) as often as i can. I’d like to thank everyone for their friendship over the past year, and all the help in sending me photo’s, i don’t want to start listing names, because i’ll slip up, and leave someone out, and that’s not fair. In a world that has more than it’s share of harshness, tough times, sadness, loneliness and isolation, i hope the photo blog goes some ‘teensy’ way in redressing that balance, and is a nice place for people to look at, and celebrate the absolute joy the Beatles, and their music brings to our lives.
So, take care everyone, be kind (Especially to yourselves), find comfort where ever you can, in friends, in family, in music etc, and remember ‘The smile you send out returns back to you’.

I often wonder about the machinations of the Beatles tours, when there was just the boys and Neil and Mal, who done the washing for the guys?, think of the number of gigs played in just 1963, did they dry clean the suits every couple of days?, times everything by four, like each night four dirty shirts to be washed, then pressed. But Neil and Mal were travelling at breakneck speed with the boys, with little time for these minor chores. I know it sounds trivial, but it’s these little questions that facinate me.
