you’re so right, what are they looking at or looking for??? went out to lunch with friends, food was beyond awsome, ate too much… will make some mint tea. not too much on a birthday mood, feeling a bit down, hope to feel better soon. thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. 61! and still haven’t totally grown up…

Well, it’s seldom that a great tea has a seed or two…
but, even more seldom for a horticulturist to drop said seed…

you’re so right, andy, it could be martha. and/or tiger (ringo’s dog) was in one of those photos too – so it could be him they were looking at. don’t you all love these little mysteries we try to solve in this most amazing of all photo blogs? i ended up having a good day on my birthday and got some cool gifts, thanks so much everyone!
Possible explanation:
1. “Nobody move, I’ve lost a contact.”
2. “Guess the acid has kicked in. This pavement looks glorious.”
3. “Let’s roll the dice again and see who gets the next A side. Best 2 out of 3, yeah?”
4. Paul: “When I get knighted by the Queen some day, I’m going to bend low to the ground like this?” George: “I’m going to just stand and bow my head.” John: “You don’t have to worry about how you’ll stand, Ringo, she’ll never knight you.” (Sorry, Ritchie, couldn’t resist).
I believe they are looking in to the swimming pool – that’s where it is nowdays it seems. There is a now and then of this pic on the Kenwood Lennon site… could be wrong, though.
I was initially thinking that Paul was going to fix that hole where the rain gets in…

my guess it’s probably Martha since she’s in other photos taken that day either moments before or after
