I’m fairly sure the Beatles didn’t appear in person on RSG in 1965. I understood that their last appearance on that show was in Nov ’64 miming to I Feel Fine, She’s A Woman, Baby’s In Black and Kansas City. Can’t quite date this. Maybe from the set of Help, but can’t be certain..

Spot on, Stephen. Yes it’s from rehearsals for Good Friday April 16 ’65 appearance on Ready Steady Goes Live. This shot was taken by Brian Bignell.

George was there too and for a change they sang live, sort of,over top of A Faith record.

It was a live cover of Dick and Dee Dee Ford’s ‘I Need Your Lovin” (not an Adam Faith record). Everybody who was on the show joined in – including Kinks, Doris Troy, Adam Faith, etc.
