That’s in a television studio in The Netherlands, June 1964.
In Hillegom to be exact
Rick 12 strings
Look at that adorable smile George is giving us – he really was so cute!
Adorable! : )
Yes, this is the rare sighting of John playing his 12 string Rickenbacker!
good eye, Beatlemark…
This must be the only time he played it!
(was this a mimed performance???)
great story in ‘Chronicle’…this is June 5…
the stage gets overrun with dancing guys from the audience…
Neil and Mal try to clear the area…FAILED…Neil orders them to leave the stage…which John, Paul and George do…while the taped music keeps playing…
…and Jimmy Nichol keeps drumming(huh?)…
I guess he was very excited to be a Beatle…

OMG, I just finished watching the last part of the Beatles in the Netherlands. My side is splitting, I never laughed so hard. I think the Beatles gave them all their nervous system that night. All the people who mobbed them were guys, except for this one little old lady. The fans were twisting the night away
