  10. Hi,

The new moon, the arrival of Autumn, and someone stealing my shorts heralds my return.

Over summer i turned fifty, i didn’t have a big party, but i spent a lot of time being grateful for the privilege of reaching this birthday, so many people don’t get to be that lucky (seriously, ‘how’ can people complain about getting older and aging?, it should be celebrated.)

Alas, despite the promise, the Govt failed to deliver my stool testing kit for my birthday, my vigil continues.

Alf, funny you should mention a leash, happy Mardi Gras everyone! :-)

Thrilled to see you are are back!! Any word on the John 1980 studio video shoot or the Neil Long and Winding Road DVDs yet? Spent the last two months looking for you, John, and Neil. Happy 50 and happy 2015!

  14. Since 1963 says:

    Y E S ! ! !
Just got on and saw you’re back. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ve had major withdrawals.

  15. Since 1963 says:

Oh, and happy 50th! Now we’re in the “same decade”. lol

  16. JD says:

Jeff. Not sure about the John 1980 video shoot, but the Aspinal Winding Road DVD is imminent I’m told…

  17. Nick D. says:

What is on the Aspinal DVD? Is this a legit release by Apple?

  18. Pete F. says:

I always thought that Neil’s Long & Winding Road project is what later developed into the Anthology series of videos.

  19. Jeff says:

Thanks, JD. No luck yet finding it though.

Pete F., Neil’s LAWR is the original 1971-72 draft of what became the Anthology. John also referenced this in his 1980 deposition for the lawsuit against the theater production of “Beatlemania” when he stated “I and the three other Beatles” plan to stage a performance for this documentary film. So, it was a documentary 20 years plus in the making.

Welcome back Tam, let the fun resume! 50’s the new 30 anyway

  21. Strangely in the last few days. four preview clips of jaw dropping rarity have surfaced. They’re the ultimate tease, but it’s nice to know they are out there, somewhere.

    Rogers blog has a link . .

  22. No further news yet on the Double Fantasy footage, the wait, and anticipation continues.

  23. Shaaron says:

Wow, you’re back! I’m so glad, I didn’t know where you had disappeared to, perhaps a rabbit hole. Looking at the new photos, I love your blog. Love you!
