Always really shocked how different John could look in photos – even if they were taken in the same month/year.
In some of the 1980s photos he looks quite youthful and almost refreshed, but in some like the bottom one here he starts to look quite old.
Stuart is it amazing isn’t it. John had this Chameleons ability to take on different looks.
And don’t forget, lighting can really alter how a person looks on camera.
So sad. We all love you John!
