Wow! Never seen this one! Great!
E.M.I. Studio Three, 12th October 1967, recording of “Shirley’s Wild Accordion” for the inclusion in Magical Mystery Tour film. Producer: John Lennon. The accordion is a Scandalli Super VI given to Evans by accordion builder Silvio Scandalli himself. The microphone an A.K.G. C12, a favourite of balance technician Ken Scott.
The photograph was published in Mark Lewisohn’s The Complete Beatles Chronicle (1992), page 269.
