It’s a shame this wasn’t recorded like the 1965 gig. It still would have been great to see.
So there is no video or audio ?
There is footage of San Francisco 8.29.66 no ?
Only newsreel footage for both – and mainly crowd voxpops in the case of ’66 Shea. Colour home movie and B&W newsreel of Candlestick.
Some colour ’66 newsreel exists of them coming out of the Shea dugout heading for the stage
Beautiful picture, thanks a bunch for sharing it and all the other great ones today. : )
I’ve seen colour silent film of the ’66 show. Distant and short but steady and focused.
Now that you say it, there may be a few seconds of them coming out of the dugout on the old compleat Beatles
I’ve seen the leaving the dugout bit and there was an album I used to have with fan reaction at Shea 1966. It’s now widely available on bootleg but you only hear tiny snippets of a couple of songs in the background while kids scream or remark that there are far fewer people than the year before.
I remember you can hear a tiny bit of I Feel Fine.
