One of the things i love about Yoko is her sense of sexual self confidence, especially as she ages, it’s not a matter of growing old(er) gracefully, or (dis)gracefully, it’s about confidence, and feeling sexy as all get go. I hope if i reach an age approaching my eighties, that i’ll still be pulling on a pair of hot pants. (Oh course this is where Greg tiresomely has to insert his usual plea to please be mindful of comments, and be respectful of who could be viewing this blog).
She has always liked attention. Same with Paul. That doesn’t change just because you get older.

I think she has eluded the limitations that society places on feeling young. It’s a healthy attitude that could better the world. Any resentment is to miss the point:

i think she looks gorgeous and i love it that she can still feel sexy at 79. there is SO MUCH prejudice about women x sexuality as we age… like we are not entitled to it. go yoko, no wonder i love you so much! i can just imagine how proud john would be…

I could have done without that last shot as in forever. There’s sexy and then there’s degrading oneself.
You know, like most “Honest” Beatle fans, I wasn’t much of a Yoko fan. It’s just the way it was and nobody can say otherwise…especially when John was alive, but the more I learned about her, the more I listened to her talk, I really began to see what John saw in her. She was fascinating (in a very unconventional way) and so smart. Provocative in a way John had been when he was a young artist. I think you’re great Yoko !

This is one of the lamest thoughts I’ve ever read. So you have to be a prude to be confident? Can’t believe I’ve just read that. Really.
Oh ferfukksake…..that’s about as dumb a statement as any I’ve ever heard. If Yoko can pull off wearing hotpants, a see thru shirt or a go for a jaunt on a pogo stick that’s HER business and not yours! We should ALL look this good at 80, so if she wants to wear things that flatter her body despite the fact she’s a granny, then all the power to her and hope she’s still going at 100.
