I would like to wish all the readers of this humble little blog seasons greetings, however you may mark this time of year or celebrate. The blog hasn’t been quite as active this year as in the past, but to say 2012 has been my ‘Annus Horiblus’ is an understatement. I’m still here, and will be hopefully for a long time to come. There is so much joy to be gleaned from the Beatles, and their fans are the best and friendliest in the world. So, may 2013 bring us all growth and awakening, continued and flourishing friendships, health, and the wisdom to recognise and nurture these things. Lots of love from Tammy: Dutchess of Oven xoxo

  1. George A says:

    Thank you Tammy.

This site is terrific, always learning new Beatles info from the amazing photos and postings. It helps many of us get through the up and down cycle life. FYI…I recently stopped by the Dakota and Central Park two weeks ago. It still gets to me.

PS. Although George’s ” Dark Horse song “So Sad” is from 1974, it reminds me of losing John in 1980 and losing a loved one. Tammy, try to enjoy the Beatle spirit and Happy Holidays from NY.

  2. Jennifer says:

    Happy Holidays! : ) <3

  3. Pete F. says:

Thank you for keeping this blog going, through thick and thin. Life is hard at times, but somehow we push through and carry on. I look forward every day to my daily visit, new pics or not. New pics means new comments, old pics means continuing conversations with blog friends.

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

“Tammy…Tammy…hang in there for me, Tammy”
well…that was my Al Jolson impersonation…
Can you imagine being that dude(Al Jolson) and having EVERYTHING you ever stood for just be secondary to the one “famous line”…
Yuck! And all of that production time just spent to reinforce “the myth”…
And in the end…NOBODY knows you…
Well, that’s not ever going to happen to the Beatles. The vinyl remasters are finally here…I think this could be the final ingredient that can pull the whole world together…when all of us realize that we have three things that we all share:
    1. We all sweat beneath the same sun
    2. We all look up and wonder at the same moon
    3. We all LOVE The Beatles
Can you dig it? I don’t think it’s too abstract…I think it’s true.
“Tammy…Tammy…tell ’em ’bout dem Beatles, Tammy”
