Miss Tammy would like to extend her refined, and gloved hand to you all with sincere season’s greetings, whatever your faith, belief’s or otherwise. I take this time of year to wave my arms around and give thank’s, for my amazingly simple, but good life, for my family, for my friends, and that includes all my friends i have yet to physically meet, it’s only a matter of time before Miss Tammy finds her way to you all, and is paraded in a motorcade down your main street. When i have actually met up with net friends, it’s as if we’ve been hanging out for years, like my ‘in person’ friends, my net friends tend to be of the highest possible calibre and class.

If i’ve offended anyone this year .. Meh, if i haven’t, i’m sorry if i’ve let you down :-)

Thanks to everyone who’s sent comment’s, even the ones who’ve caused me drama’s and headaches, special thanks to those who’ve sent me photo’s, i know i quite often slip, and may not reply with thanks, but i know who you are, and it’s merely a time constrait issue if i haven’t replied to you.

Here’s hoping for a happy and healthy 2011 for our Fab’s and there families, they bring us untold joy, and i wish them happiness, health and safety .. i think they have prosperity sewn up :-)

So, happy holiday’s everyone, be safe, remind yourselves what’s ‘really’ important to you, and i’ll try not to rub in that our holiday season is born upon an Australian summer, and all the yummy things that entails. I’ll be thinking of my snow bound friends .. as i lay back on my balcony, bedecked in boardshorts and t shirt, overlooking the sparkling blue pacific ocean, and sucking a lime cordial chaser through my bendy swizzle straw.

Stand by for more photo treats to be revealed from Miss Tammy’s photo purse in 2011.

Merry Christmas Tammy and Beatle friends.
I remember Christmas of 1980 right after we loss John. I was in the home of a musician who played on Double Fantasy. He has a Christmas card from John, Yoko and Sean. It must have been filled out by Yoko. It was very sad indeed. The card had the famous photo of John and Yoko in their t shirts from the Thanksgiving photoshoot. Very sad.
By the way, what is the above photo from?

Merry Xmas to Miss Tammy and all. Although I don’t know the details of this photo, I know that a similar ‘box of smile’ was presented to friends around the time of Milk & Honey. When opened, it played Grow Old With Me.

A hearty thanks for all the incredible pictures you’ve posted, esp. all those fantastic hi-res ones of John from 1980. I discovered your blog earlier this year and now I can’t imagine going online without dropping by for a visit.

Very jealous of the weather you’re currently experiencing- over here in Scotland there’s been so much snow that utterly mundane things such as pavements and grass seem like distant memories!

Have a great Christmas, here’s to a great 2011 & many more fabulous pictures!

  20. Lizzie Bravo says:

My dearest Miss Tammy, thank you for amazing me over and over again with the most delicious John pix on the planet: you always make me smile, laugh my head off or run to a cold shower – depending on the photo. To all the very neat fellow Beatle photo junkies I have met here, it’s been a pleasure and I hope we can keep our healthy obsession going forever and ever. Every time I remember the huge boxes FULL of press photos I used to see when going to the newspaper agencies in London in the late 60’s and I could only afford a couple at a time, I know there’s a lot of stuff we still haven’t seen. And when I remember the TONS of photos all my friends took, I know we still have a lifetime of enjoyment waiting for us! Have a great Xmas and New Year. I don’t want to brag either, but I have wrapped my large body in nothing but a “canga” (beach wrap we use here) and have the AC running. Keep warm you people up North! All my loving xxx

Was this tiffany box that John and Yoko gave out to friends and “family” a box to put your fantasies in? Clever idea if that was it. I quoted the word family because I wonder how much family they did keep in contact with during those days?
