    “melted”

  3. Usagi says:

@Lizzie: I completely agree with you. I’ve always felt that way.

Lizzie … i get it! The impression that the band and Paul (my favorite)made on me is everlasting … their look, their accents, their style, their music … about as complete a package as one can ever hope for.

I’m always grateful for being able to experience them as they were starting out. I was part of that craze and that excitement. Kids that become fans today (and there are many new fans) can’t even imagine what it was like to see them on Ed Sullivan, wait for the next 45, LP, fan magazine or pack of Beatle bubblegum cards. That was a glorious time!

Regarding THAT scar – anyone know what the story is? In all my Beatle book reading, it’s the one explanation I’ve never come across…

  6. Alex of the Bronx says:

    Don,
He was in a carcrash and he lost his hair (beard) in 1969.
Now we realize Ringo is a prophet.

Of course! Thanks Alex, why didn’t I think of that!? So – we’re dead sure the scar is not evident in any photos before 69? Cheers
