RIP Bruce Hamlin.

Today The Beatle fan world lost a giant. Australian Beatle lover and scholar Bruce Hamlin
has passed away.

Bruce was a close personal friend, so it’s hard for me to write anything
at the moment.

Bruce dedicated his life to spreading the joy, and the friendships, that
The Beatles music brings, that’s an honourable life, and a life well lived.

The above image is the album Bruce compiled, curated, and wrote the liner notes for, for EMI Australia.

I will miss Bruce as well.

I had been a friend with Bruce since 1981 when I first wrote for information on The Beatles.

Endless letters, emails, tape swaps ect on the Fabs galore shared over many decades will hold an extra special place in my heart and mind.

Bruce you will never be forgotten.
