When did ringo start with the peace sign? Every photo that I’ve ever seen seems that way

He’s had a great career huh ? I believe Ringo and Steven Van Zant from Springsteens band have had the best Rock careers ever. Besides Beatle Paul that is.

Not sure when, tho i wish i knew when he’d stop ‘I’m warning you with Peace and love’ .. still one of the funniest for all the wrong reasons video clips of a Beatle ever, well, that and when John Davidson almost punched him out in 1978 :-)

History’s most successful supporting act, I think Philip Norman called him, or was it The Luckiest man in Rock. One or the other.

Richie gets a lot of flak for being “lucky”, but don’t forget the other three wanted him in the band, and not for his looks! He’s a damn good drummer. The only people who bash him are people who don’t know anything about drumming; you’ll never find any complaints from the people who’ve worked with him. As a bassist myself (and a left-handed one at that), I’d *much* rather work with someone like Ringo or Charlie than any “flash” drummers who can’t keep time.

If anything, he’s “unlucky” enough to only be ‘very talented’ in a band with three geniuses.

Very, Very good Mcarp 555. Well said
