That´s from the John Lennon-Plastic Ono Band album. You can see Klaus Voorman there too. I think they´re recording “God”, because Billy Preston play piano in that track.

  2. Paul Back says:

Yeah.. ‘John Lennon´s album’. Certainly. Ringo has his 1970 ‘look’.

  3. dbacon says:

Wasn’t POB recorded at Abbey Road? My guess would be an All Things Must Pass session at Trident

    (calling all cars…)

  5. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

I agree with dbacon it does look more like Trident than Abbey Road and it’s certainly 1970 but still unsure as to what session.

  6. Kwai Chang says:

an ATMP session with only two musicians seems odd…

  7. dbacon says:

There is another photo circulating that shows Ringo, Billy, Klaus plus George, Phil and Pete Drake grouped together. It was taken at Trident. In that group photo Ringo is wearing the same flowered shirt as in this photo.

  8. Kwai Chang says:

So likely that it IS ATMP sessions…
    Thank you dbacon
