REMEMBERING LINDA:

It’s now eight years since we lost Linda, I cant believe it has been that long. I’m sure it’s no secret of my love and total admiration for Linda, I’m one of a rare breed, I’m a real living and breathing Linda ‘fan’ not just because of Paul, but in her own right. One of, if not the biggest thrills of my life were the times I got to meet Linda and speak with her, she was everything I could have hope for in a person and so much more, when you were with Linda there was a definite ‘warm’ feeling around, I cant really explain it but it was a beautiful, natural and organic feeling.

This may sound silly and inconsequential but one of the great joy’s of my life, one of the things i’m so happy i got to do was to let Linda know how much she was truely loved by so many people, i really felt it was so important to let her know what an inspiration she was to so many of us, how loved and admired she was. It makes feel good, maybe even peaceful that i used my time with her to let her know this.

Being a Linda fan was no easy time, but it was worth it. Linda was a true individual who marched to the beat of her own drum in just about every aspect of her life, from fashion to music to diet and down to morals, I learnt so much from Linda that i’m only now appreciating, i love that her fashion sense was wild, and i love that it used to make people mad, even infuriating some .. just because she wanted to be different.

If i have a role model it’s definatley Linda, be an individual, dont worry what others think of you, be kind to all living things, friends and family come first because nothing else really matters

‘And what’s wrong with that’

Linda may be the best friend Paul’s ever had. When I was a wee lad and a member of the Wings Fun Club, Linda was such a big part of it all.
Thanks Tammy for these beautiful pics!

Looking back at it now, it was just sad that being a linda fan was difficult at times(espacially during the wings period) because people didn’t really know her and so they didn’t get her. They thought she was bitter because she sounded a bit like that and they thought she launched herself on paul and forced herself into his band. She was just the opposite! Love you linda! Cool lady:)

I never met her and I don’t know lindathe private person, but I like her so much! One person once said that her beauty never really come across on photos, that she was so much more attractive if you were standing next to her.I believe that

Paul McCartney’s not an easy guy to deal with; Don’t get me wrong, I adore him, but he’s always been a bit of a cagey little prima donna, and most girls that were involved with him said so. Linda was the ONLY one that could curb his ego a bit and Paul was all the better man for him. I think maybe Paul would have killed himself had she not been there to help him stand after the band’s breakup!! This is an example that there REALLY is a perfect person for each of us. God bless her, what a wonderful strong and marvellous lady!!
