  2. Keith Bratley says:

Hopefully a video and audio recording of this will one day emerge.

  3. Don Percy says:

Love it. Yes Keith, we keep reading that Beatle rehearsals still exist in the “ED” archives. Anyone know the full story…?

  4. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

    GREAT photo!

  5. Kwai Chang says:

What a hassle to drag that organ around for one song only.
The best part of this show was when Paul played Yesterday…
I don’t think anyone had heard it before and the audience wants to scream but they can’t because they keep trying to listen!
    So, where are the amps?
And, was the ‘string backing’ for Yesterday played over the PA system?

  6. Kwai Chang says:

    Thanks, Tammy.
I love this picture. It is is filled with magic radiating from each Beatle. There is still a common goal…and they all look confident. And so far, no ugliness…
I don’t know if it was ever better than this for them!

  7. Willischulz says:

I never saw a colored shot of this.
My older brother had the same organ when I was growing up. Weighed a ton. The top was red – except his keys were reversed – the sharp keys were white and the natural keys were black. Even the same stand and expression pedal!

  8. nika says:

This and the photo of them in line getting the superimposition on the start of Ticket To Ride on the Ed Sullivan Show pictures done are taken on the same day.

  9. Cara says:

It WAS their trousers! 😉 Great shot!

  10. HarvG says:

Truly a great shot, and one I’ve never seen in color before. As usual, thanks for posting it!

  11. mcarp555 says:

@Willischulz – if you look closely, you’ll see that this one (as did all Vox Continentals, I believe) had colour-reversed keys.

  12. Kwai Chang says:

When did Paul stop wearing Beatle Boots?
    (rehearsal only?)

  13. DaveO says:

And why did “Yesterday” get dropped from the set list for the rest of that tour?
