    Sgt. Pilcher victim?
or was that just George and the Stones?
    pathetic police work

  2. anonymoustill says:

Pilcher got his. Not quite so instant, but karma nonetheless.

Maybe Pilcher saw Yoko smoking the joint while she had her pants hemmed or the various Mad Day out photo’s. Pilcher was a swine.
Any one ever hear the story that George was at the house when the Stones got busted in ’67 and they ushered him out before the bust ?
Guess it wasn’t Beatle season untill 68/69

    Anonymoustill,
Tell me what happened to Pilcher the swine please.

    “No comment”…George Martin

Alex, he got 4 years for perjury and the sentencing judge really laced into him. I don’t know that he served all 4 or what happened to him professionally or otherwise afterwards. He was part of a small goon squad that wanted to make a name for themselves. They did, but for all the wrong reasons.

In 67, but for Paul’s LSD statements, the Beatles were still largely untouchable regarding scandal. John’s Jesus statements were controversial in the US in 66, but in Britain they barely raised an eyebrow. By 68, things had changed quite a bit in Britain. John thought he could thumb his nose at the establishment. He could and did, but there’s a price to pay. The bust was a down payment. Some have speculated 12/8/80 was the balance, but I beg to differ for lack of evidence. Sorry Kwai. Regardless, Pilcher did get his. “Knocked right in the head.”

Thanks Anonymoustill. Pilcher got his good.
I don’t buy the J.L. conspiracy theories either , just a horrible tragedy.

    hey anon…
I personally think it to be a bit RISKY to be John Lennon and wears things like a button that says “charge Rockefeller with murder”…
if that went on more than we know…it can add up(or down) quickly…
I think that was very brazen!
    (thanks for the consideration)

  9. ALEX OF BRONX says:

If J.L. was anything it was Brazen.
    Part of his greatness.
