My auntie used to watch many bands at the Cavern in the early 60s-I think she saw the Beatles about 4-5 times but was never really fond of them because as she said ‘That John Lennon used to look at me funny, all arrogant, like’, she preferred a group called the Undertakers (who never really got anywhere) over the Fabs because Lennon almost certainly in giving her a ‘funny look’ ACTUALLY could hardly see a damn thing…
I want the story of John walking off stage after one concert and INTO a broom cupboard by mistake to be SO true…..:-)
