wow again! i don’t think i’ve ever seen a picture of that particular day (top one) – i love it! the bottom one is either the same or similar to the one i have in that japanese photo book that was out ages ago.
Awesome pictures, I especially like second one- too cute! : )
Top one is probably in L.A. circa late May when he recorded with Ringo for his “Rotogravure” album in 1976. He looks similar to the pic of him inside the cover of that LP from memory. Also around the time he and Ringo went to the Roxy Nightclub.
Never saw the top one either, but I am pretty sure that I a different frame of that photo. Now I must look for it! (I forsee a future blog post on this subject. LOL) Thanks Tammy you are the most awesome Beatles diva ever!
What is interesting is that this is a frame, similar to the one in the book ‘Family album’, but the book wasn’t published till the early eighties, so John must have had some photo’s prointed off, like this one, that he signed. I’m thinking this was a gift to a person who was with John, Yoko and Sean on the farm, as it was inscribed at the time.
i remember seeing young Sean in this snowsuit when his nanny would take him out in NYC in those days.
