When I turned 13 I choose the name Paul as my Catholic Confirmation name. I said it was after my uncle who passed away but deep down inside it was really after Paul McCartney. Do you think I should write a letter to him and tell him this?
How is it that in many photos where john appears in good bright light his hair colour is definitely light brown/Red but in all the classic beatle pics, particularly the early years his hair is almost black if not very dark brown?..my question is ther obvious one…did John die his hair during the moptop years, if not always at least alot of the time, can any one comment back on this?
In the years when I saw him (1967, 1968 and 1969) his hair was always light brown.
Hi Lizzie great to hear from you, would that mean that in the pictures where his hair looks thr same colour as Paul and George(both dark obviously)its just dowen to photography? It probably is I suppose but I always wondered about that, afteral Johns thre last person you’d expect for the die job..but hell even elvis went for it early on if it meant it was good for the image, still great to hear you seen his hair fro reall and John himself so I suppose you know it for sure, funny isnt it really that his hair was actually so light, I read in one book by a liverpool singer that he always thought of John as having Blonde hair!ha!..and he knew him!
sorry bad spelling ..Ive had a glass or two of thr red wine!anyway its realy nive to hear from you, your a star on here!
