    HAha that’s harsh Tammy!

  2. Dave says:

Harsh but true! I think Paul’s certainly reached the peak of his “Middle-Aged Lesbian” look here!

  3. d- says:

Fact of life, Dave: The older you’re going to get, the more “feminine” you’re going to look. Just like many women as they age start to look more masculine.

And I hope no one is nasty enough to make such remarks about you.

  4. BLJ says:

I think Paul is a cute old man but I must say I wish he would choose a hairstyle that was more suitable for his age. A little gray at the temples would make him more elegant.

  5. yesiamize says:

Paul looks fine. He doesn’t look as tired as a couple of years ago. Nancy is good for him.

  6. Brian says:

He looks better than he did when he was married to that bitch heather!

  7. Jeff says:

If Paul’s face falls any further it’s going to hit the floor!

  8. Brian says:

The legend is 68 going on 69. Give me a break.

  9. D- says:

Brian: You’re absolutely right. Paul was an incredibly beautiful man for a very very long time. We got used to seeing him perfectly posed in photos. And now it seems like people just can’t forgive him for getting old. I’ve seen comments accusing him of having had plastic surgery and comments like Jeff’s accusing him of needing plastic surgery. Look in the mirror folks. Perhaps you aren’t so perfect either. The guy wasn’t going to stay perfect forever. People age. But you’d think after everything he’s given us, we would at least give him a break about this.

I give a shit how he looks like at this age (damn, he is as old as my father and that guy is nearly bald and most of his hair that is left is gray!!!) if he is happy again and able to make the music he loves so much!
Not his looks matter, it is his music that made him.
No one ever says a word about Ringo’s (very spare) hair, why does it matter here? Let them both get old the way they want to….and if he colors his hair pink, I would laugh, but I wouldn’t mind.

(although you are right….ALF’s hair here! Nice comparison….given that ALF a) was quite old and b) was a funny chap.)

  12. Jeff says:

Paul was a great looking guy, just having trouble adjusting to his sagging jowls now. I think he would look more “normal” with grey hair.

  13. Elad says:

Well, true fans are allowed to have a laugh now and then at our guys! It’s all done with love! As for Paul’s hair, I do think a trim and some shaping would do wonders, but I think he is leaving it long so he can do what so many men do: have some hair to comb over the thin spots. I think his hair is quite sparse on top, based on some photos I’ve seen. Stands to reason: look at his Dad, and at his son James!

  14. BLJ says:

It doesn’t matter how we feel about Paul. What really matters is how he feels about himself. If he is happy about how he looks, so am I. He still is a cute old man to me no matter how he styles his hair. I am just happy that Paul is still around so we can enjoy seeing him perform, Praise the Lord. 😀

  15. Aeolian Cadence says:

I agree with yesiamize, I think Paul looks relaxed and happy lately, and less like an aging lesbian. Sure I miss his former beauty (while at the same time I wish he’d just let the gray in), but we can relive those days through the lovely Beatle Photo Blog. For now, I’m just really glad he seems to be in such a happy place.

  16. Don Percy says:

In ten or fifteen years time, if our beloved Paul is still with us – we’ll be looking back at these pix and be amazed at how ‘virile’ he looked for his age! He’ll be 70 next year – I don’t think his Dad, Jim (who lived to 74), looked as good as Paul at 70.

Fire that hairdresser!! and good point Don.

Complainers? Be happy that we hAVE a 69 year old Paul AND that he is well and still actively recording and performing. The same with Ringo. They are living their lives for themselves. The music and concerts are for us. They don’t complain about us aging! We never got a 41 year old John or a 59 year old George. Be thannkful for what we do get from Paul and Ringo. Rock on!
