Is that the Dakota they are in front of in the 3rd picture?
That is not the Dakota. The Dakota is a dark brown. It MIGHT be the Plaza Hotel in New York City. That is where The Beatles stayed during their first visit to the United States in 1964.
No, these photo’s were taken on 5th Avenue.
Does anyone know which hotel Ringo is leaving in the third photo?
john eastman is the one in pic 4 right?

You’re right, it’s not the Dakota, but I gotta disagree about the Dakota being dark brown, As you can see from the photo in the link above, it’s certainly not dark brown. Tan perhaps, much like the 3rd photo.

Hi, back in 1978 the Dakota would have been dark brown, it was only sand blasted clean in the early 1990′s, i’m pretty sure Ringo is leaving the Plaza hotel as he met up with Paul and Linda just nearby on 5th Avenue.
I think you’re right about it being the Plaza. I’m almost certain, as I have seen it countless times. Interestingly, the Plaza and the Dakota have the same architect. Can’t remember his name right now.
It is most certainly the Plaza Hotel. I have been to both many times.
