Paul looks young in top photo like he was still a Beatle, but Mick looks a lot older, anyone knows the story with this photo ?

  2. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

Alex. it was taken at recording session for an aborted version of the Beatles’ third Xmas record, Marquee Studios, London, October 1965. Photo by Robert Whitaker.

  3. BLJ says:

@Alex of Bronx And Mick still looks a lot older than Paul. Have you seen him lately?

  4. Kwai Chang says:

    more charity?
I mean, were they really friends?
I guess it’s possible, but there aren’t many pictures of them hanging out…

  5. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

In the mid Sixties, Paul and Mick were quite close

  6. Kwai Chang says:

    @A Car…
That seems like oil and vinegar…
    (polar opposites)
and all we see is the John /Mick bond later on
    Very interesting stuff. (Thanks)

To me, the bottom snap looks like it’s from 1967? Bangor train? It’s Paul’s sideburns that make me think that? A Car????

  8. A Car And A Room And A Room And A Room says:

Hi Nick, yes that’s on the way to Bangor (or the Bognor Express to you Rutles people), Aug 25, 1967. That’s Marianne Faithfull (out of shot) next to Mick.

  9. Nick says:

Thank you, A Car. Thought so.

  10. Cristiano says:

I think Bangor is the most reliable. The look of Macca is to that period. We know that Jagger went with them, the same train, for the meeting with the Maharishi. It ‘s true that Jagger looked older, but maybe because Paul has a face like a baby, if there was John, it would not have noticed. John too looked older than he was…
