That huge laughing grin in the 5th picture is amazing. It’s just an older version of that same grin we’ve seen in photos from 50 years ago. What a goof he still is — thanks goodness.
LOVE Nancy’s dress in that last shot.
I want to jabber about each but…
(I actually have a job this week…)
so Thanks Tammy for a bunch of pics that i’ve never seen…
like most of the group pics
an awesome post…
we’re so lucky
peace
Is it Twiggy in the second picture?
He’s looking fine these days.
paul gives great face!
Wait, is that Chryssie Hynde in the sixth picture?
My bucket list includes meeting at least one Beatle and telling him just how much joy and light their work has brought to me personally. Lucky, lucky fans….
Yep, that is Twiggy in the second picture and Chrissie Hynde in the sixth picture.
He looks so awesome for a guy of his age. And he still has that goofy laugh that was always so amazing.
Astrid
Twiggy! Paul looks great!
I agree with Louise, that huge laughing grin was one of his favorite looks way back in early Beatle days.
Oh my, sooo very good to see that massive laughing face again! I agree, Paul is looking very FINE here. Luving him in blue and again, he is looking mighty FINE. Thanks Tammy.
amazing photos, and paul looks so happy it makes my day to see him like this!
GREAT PICTURES of Sir Paul! Nancy is as stunning as ever! How much do you think Sir Paul weighs? I want to get back down to that weight. lol
Is he 5 11 like me?
Louise et al, I had the same reaction to that photo! For the first time in quite awhile, I actually saw the “old Paul”, meaning the younger Paul! That photo was SO familiar looking…how many times did we see that expression when the Beatles were playing on stage? That photo alone should put to rest all those rumors about Paul not being the real Paul! That’s definitely our guy!
I had a similar moment of deja vu when I watched the video on YouTube of Paul last year singing Birthday to Ringo for his 70th birthday. There is a moment when Ringo is running on stage and Paul is watching and then Paul spins around, throws his head back, and laughs and — OMG — it’s EXACTLY the same mannerism as Paul had during the Shea Stadium concert in New York after he’s laughing at some crazy thing John did on stage. It was sort of stunning to see it again, 50 years later.
I was just about to write the same thing Louise but you beat me to the punch. That photo is fantastic! When he smiles like that, the years just fall away don’t they?
AHahah OMG I guess we all feel the same way about picture 5 huh?
Paul looks great, but what strikes me is that he looks so happy these days.. I love it! And Nancy, work it girl!
Unrelated:
my day was just made absolutely heaven sent by a little movie called:
“Nice Video of Paul, Linda, Heather and baby Mary In Scotland” (2:35)…
over at:
http://heathermccartneyfans.blogspot.com/
it’s at the bottom of the page…
awesome pics too,
I’ve never seen any of it before…
Okay Kwai, assume the position, Miss Tammy has moistened her leather strop, and is going to tan your bottom, the video of which you speak is part of the deluxe ‘McCartney’ archive release, every fan must have these, they must beg, borrow .. maybe even steal for them (i mean that nicely in a non invasive way) these sets are the pussies bow of releases, i’ve given away all other sets i had of these albums, all obsolete .. get out there, slip one under your skirt and Costco and RUN!.
As usual, Tammy is right. The deluxe editions of McCartney (and McCartney II) are absolutely fantastic.
Bring on the deluxe edition of Ram (rumored for release in December)!!!!!!!!
Tammy,
have mercy on the lowly, penniless chicken rancher…
(don’t worry…the harvest has cured and the line is forming)
I will just buy them…again!!!
I think you should see how many copies and ‘versions’ of every Beatle product I already own…I’m heavily invested…
BUT, I don’t have the funds that I used to, I don’t go out in public ever, and I really had missed the release for no good reason…
(must have been during my last poppy garden…pictures available)
…now, about that leather…
sounds like a lyric from the anthology version of Helter Skelter
I envy Paul’s Girlfriend soooo much!!
Wow, Kwai Chang – what a great little Mac movie! THanks for posting it.
I’m glad that I know that Mary grew up ok, though – glad to know that she survived Linda’s jouncing her with all that jumping and Paul’s smothering her in his jacket.
Does anyone know why Jeff Lynn was not interviewed on George’s documentary? They were very close.
the photo that really struck out from that day was Nancy patting Paul’s bum….you guys should see it XD
