Onward and upward.

Poor Miss Tammy has been suffering a few health issues this year, i know i haven’t been dropping blogs with my usual regularity, for that i’m sorry.

As long as i can wriggle a finger outside of my iron lung*, as long as i can strap a stick to my tongue to tap out something on the keyboard, and as long as my page turner continues to function, i will endeavor to keep plugging along.

So don’t worry if you don’t see an update for a couple of weeks every now and then, it’s a silence of necessity, not of indifference.

For many, me included, i know our little space here is like the Betty Ford clinic for Beatle fans, a place of caring and sharing (to quote Dame Edna). All will be well, it’s no big drama, i just didn’t want you to think i had tired of you, or our little Beatle friendly space.

*I don’t really have an Iron lung, the tongue stick i’ll remain a little more circumspect about :-)

Sorry to hear you’re under the weather Tammy. Don’t feel any pressure, just feel better.

    Turn your head and cough…
    Dame Edna told me to
    (and I think she’s right)

    Feel better Ms Tammy :-)

  5. I’ll be okay, I have my local support network on hand. Princess Stephanie has been trained in pharmaceutical dispensing, and is a deft hand with a fleet enema, and Lady Hyacinth is standing by with the sluice bucket. I’m in good hands.

Good to know you have a local support network, since I’m “a little” faraway here in Rio to come help you out… Feel better soon!!!

BTW, this is DEFINITELY the Betty Ford clinic for Beatle fans, I absolutely love you all – there’s no Beatle place like this on the internet! And YOU created it and keep it alive. THANK YOU!!!!

Is this because you didn’t get your screening kit last month?

Oh, insert shameless plug here: Vol. 1 of “A is for Apple” is now available (http://aisforapplebook.com/index.html). Proofread by yours truly (my tiny contribution to Fab fame).

Maybe George’s doctor in Bournemouth can give you some tonic. It spurred his song-writing career!

mcarp555, it’s BECAUSE i got my stool screening kit. One found oneself becoming rather attached rather quickly to the stool splades, before i knew it i was monitoring peoples 50th birthday greetings on Facebook, and then laying in wait by their letter boxes and intercepting their kits. It got out of hand, within two weeks concerned friends and family had surprised me with an intervention. I’m slowly being weaned, and the real deal splades have been replaced by paddle pop sticks. Sorry to be graphic, but i owe you the truth .. or my version of it.

Ps/ Huge shout out to Princess Stephanie who has traumatised her mouth by consuming up to twenty five paddle pops a day, just so i can be supplied with a cache of sodden, splintery sticks to calm my nerves.
