    once there was a way
    to thank the most

    Beatle photos,
    Fill your eyes
Smiles await us when you rise
    Sleep pretty darling
    Do not cry
And we will sing a lullaby…

    of golden thank yous

PS-Thank you, ever so kindly. The pictures are great, too!

Did it bring you a little joy?, to it cause you to ponder and think about the time it was taken?, did it further your knowledge, perception and understanding of The Beatles?, then, my work is more than done. 😍

fantastic….. 1969 studio shots are such treasures. So few photos have surfaced of the final album sessions…. Ive long assumed a reaction to the overexposure to cameras during January. The Cameras of Discontent. I can imagine George demanded “no cameras” as a condition of turning up

a few of these era pictures surfaced in the “McCartney in his own words “book ,circa 79,but they were so close cropped it was hard to tell they were from beatle sessions. As George is quite happy on the threetles ones from this era,we know the cause of winter of dicontent,it certainly wasnt how “Let it be” film shows it ie “Ill play what you want me to play”.That quote is used by every musician in any documentary as a joke now.

  6. In the pre-internet era of the 70s and 80s it was frustrating to see the lack of pics from the AR sessions, and I started to wonder “well, is this all that’s out there?”. Thanks to blogs like this we can all enjoy the many pics that have been unearthed and never seen before.

    Tammy, many thanks.

Linda’s July 31st pic, singing into the amazing u47-48 mic, and listening to it all through those terrible all mid-range WWII radio headphones. Reason no. 87 why they were ……..amazing.
