This one is no different.
I’m thinking I haven’t ever seen a Beatle sporting a tank top.
At least Paul does it justice. AND there’s nothing funnier than a smoking athlete. Probably a pack of herbal left-handers…(the Jazz ciggie)
I’m thinking this is Australia 1993, Paul was going through a ‘Tank top period’ while he was here, he Linda and the kidz lived on Sydney harbour for a month, Paul went sailing most days as it was summer, and there are photo’s, and fiilm of him on the harbour bedecked in said ‘tank’. It’s also a joke down here that their Sydney house was covered in a permanant plume of thick, dense smoke .. except when James was pulled over by the water police on the harbour, for riding his jet ski. The cops pulled up to the house, and ‘allegedly’ all that could be heard was the frantic flushing of every toilet in the house
Paul is wearing a tank top in his book “Paintings” I was very, very lucky to get that book signed by Paul when he was in NYC in 2000 at the gallery that had shown his artwork.
Oh yes, it was harvest time in March 93, friends caught Paul and Linda making out on a balcony under the harbour bridge .. and blazing up, they snuck away so as not to interupt their moment.
Soz to be pedantic but that’s a vest not a tank top ( at least in England). Check out the ‘Waterfalls’ vid or loads of ’67 pics for Macca in a proper tank top
