I knew some people who met John in the studio just days later! The girl did NOT know who he was!!!! She just turned 15.

i have the originals to these, they were taken by a friend – though i can’t remember who. lovely! i believe the story is the president was going to pass by 72nd street and john was holding sean up so he could see.

I am saddened to say there are no photos of that day that I know of.
Right after John died I went to a studio musician’s house who worked on Double Fantasy. He had a Christmas card that Yoko made out from John, Yoko and Sean. It was one of John and Yoko’s commonly known promotional photos.
How ironic. John Lennon who everyone waits to see is waiting with his family to see a president.
Yeah Chris, the funny thing about it is that he’s waiting to see Jimmy Carter!
