George is already feeling a bit crappy.

  3. Yeh, poor George, lucky he got over it, with the flu’s going around these days he would have been layed up a fortnight.

that’s right … nothing was the same again. they were setting the standard that all others would try to follow and/or compete with. little did they know on that February day that everything was about to change for them & for us!

Just saw the movie two days ago at the Rio Film Festival. Quite enjoyed it, but WHY COLORIZE STUFF??? I’m sorry if I sound old fashioned, but I can’t understand it. It gave me a better idea of how those touring days were, pretty scary at times! Shea was stunning.

  6. Enjoyed the movie, too. And it had been a long long time since I’d seen Shea so for that reason it was enjoyable. Although sitting there I wondered exactly how much of what I was listening to was overdubbed later on at EMI.

Honestly didn’t understand the significance of the fuss over Sigourney Weaver being at the gig, but oh well.

And yes – – nothing was the same again. Including their nervous systems.

    My Blu-Ray is coming in November. :) :) :)

BTW, wasn’t a young Meryl Streep at the gig, too? I think she ended up on some interview footage.

I have a theory that many people at Beatles gigs from Hamburg onward are actually time-travelers from the future who are seeing what the fuss was all about, and actually helping to create the furor they’re investigating.

mcarp555: my mind is officially blown.
