6th November 1963 at the ABC. I once lived in Northampton and spent many happy hours in that cinema!
So all together”Roll over Beethoven”
if later “Everybodys trying” and then “If I needed someone”..Georges entire solo spots in the Beatles.
Alice probably has the correct spelling !!
Yes, I do – just one “h”, Tammy! By the way, one of the films I saw at that cinema was “The Life of Brian”. It’s quite funny to think that George is performing in front of a screen on which a film he produced and in which he made a fleeting appearance would one day be projected…
Chains…Devil in her heart…Glad all over…Do you want to know a secret etc.
Cool Pic!
I’m always interested in the tech issues and it’s surprising: besides The Beatles amplifiers (and the spare Hofner bass) I count four more Vox AC30… Never saw that before at that time. Are they maybe for another band?
Great site, by the way.
