Not sure why he’s always hidden behind shades – his big blue eyes must be one of his greatest physical attributes!

he wears sunglasses to cope? that gave me a laugh. i think his eyes are just sensitive to the light. at least that’s my excuse for why he wears them all the time during the day.
Ringo has said that all the years of flash bulbs going off in his face has made his eyes sensitive to light. And thus he wears the shades all of the time. I don’t believe this to be a recent photo. Maybe from the early to mid 1990′s?
